Nymölla mill is looking for a Process Engineer for the Pulp Mill Sylvamo Nymölla mill is located twenty kilometers east of Kristianstad in Bromölla municipality. The mill produces pulp using the magnefite method and uncoated fine paper. Multicopy is our most well-known product. The production capacity is 340,000 tons of pulp and 475,000 tons of fine paper.
We are now looking for a goal-oriented and action-oriented colleague for our Fiber department, which is part of the Pulp Mill!
What do we offer you? We offer a developing and exciting job where you will handle operational and developmental tasks on a daily basis.
You will have the opportunity to drive and/or participate in projects to optimize and improve work methods and production processes, as well as quality and costs for the entire department.
The Fiber department is responsible for the processes from cooking to pumping of pulp, including cooking, screening, washing, bleaching, and post-screening.
The department is also responsible for raw water treatment, make-up water production, ultrafiltration, drying machine, and pumping of pulp to the paper mill. This must be done cost-effectively, with minimal impact on the external environment, and with a strong focus on the safety of employees and the facility.
About the position
As a Process Engineer in Fiber, you will be a resource for the entire pulp mill for process monitoring and optimization. Daily tasks include troubleshooting, investigations, and process analyses, as well as working with production monitoring.
The Process Engineer also contributes to the competence development of staff in the department.
Who are you?
As a person, you are driven, structured, creative, and self-motivated. You are collaborative, and we also see that you have good leadership qualities. You should also have a good ability to understand physical and chemical processes.
Your knowledge and experience We are looking for someone with an engineering degree or a university degree, preferably with a focus on chemical engineering or other education/experience that can be deemed equivalent. If you have a career in the pulp industry and experience working in project form, that is an advantage. You express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and English, and experience working with SAP, Office, and process control systems is also an advantage.
